SFCC scored again in the 36th minute courtesy of a goal from midfielder Julius Tabe with an assist from defender Andry Salazar.

SFCC took 3-0 lead into halftime. Scott Community College scored in the 59th minute.

"I thought our first half performance was one of the more dominant performances we put together in the last couple of years," said Roadrunners Head Soccer Coach Jaime Beltran. "Our guys came out and played the system that we wanted to play. We made quick passes [and] played with pace. Everything seemed to click, especially in the first half. In the second half, we still attacked, but we wanted to maintain possession."

Goalkeeper Wesley Morrison of Sedalia got the start in goal for SFCC and played the entire match.
