April 12 St. Louis Community College at Sedalia

State Fair Community College (SFCC) defeated 15th ranked St. Louis Community College 1-0 on Monday, April 12 at the Fred E. Davis Sports Complex in Sedalia.

"St. Louis is a talented team," said SFCC Soccer Head Coach Jaime Beltran. "On that day…we were able to take care of business. They had some chances on goal, but we made stops. Our goalkeeper did a good job, and he earned the shutout. St. Louis took Tebello Ntene down on one of our breakaway opportunities. He took the penalty kick for us and put it away."

SFCC relied on a solid team defensive effort to close out the victory.

Ntene had five shots, three of which were on goal. Breno Prado made five saves to earn the shutout in goal.
