The Roadrunners ended the regular season against the Missouri Valley College Vikings in Marshall with a loss, 3-2.

"We played the match with more than half of our backups on the field and a goalkeeper who hadn't played in the goal since his junior year of high school," said Head Coach Jaime Beltran. "It was an interesting lineup for us. We gave up a goal early while we were trying to get adjusted, and then we just had to chase it for the rest of the match."

Freshman forward Chad Angerer and freshman Niko Burns scored the goals for SFCC. Cole Mengwasser started in goal.

The Roadrunners will begin postseason play on Saturday, Oct. 21, against Crowder College in Neosho. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. The Roadrunners record currently stands at 8-9-1.
