Head Coach Kevin Bucher has announced the addition of 6'0" forward Sahara Bamba to the 2018-2019 Lady Roadrunners. Bamba, who signed a National Letter of Intent, played basketball at Julia Richmond Educational Complex in New York for Head Coach Annie DeRoy.

Bamba pulled down over 1,000 rebounds during her high school career.

"Sahara is a quick, athletic player," said Bucher. "She is an excellent rebounder who uses speed to force ball handlers to change directions. Sahara is a strong defensive player we can put at the front of our full-court pressure; her quickness will definitely help our transition game, especially as she improves offensively. Sahara is looking forward to coming to SFCC, and we are pleased to have her in our program."
