Lady Roadrunners Basketball Head Coach Kevin Bucher has announced the signing of Bre'Anna Smith to the Lady Roadrunners 2018-2019 recruiting class. Smith, a 6'0'' forward from Houston, Texas, played basketball at Dobie High School in Pasadena, Texas, for Head Coach Shane Brown. She has signed a National Letter of Intent for this fall.

Smith helped her team to the second round of the state playoffs as a senior. She was named second-team all-district.

"Bre'Anna is a left-handed player with speed," said Bucher. "She averaged double figures in points and rebounds playing against a conference full of large schools. She will be able to help us at the top of our press. Bre'Anna was impressive when she was shooting and going through drills and demonstrating ball-handling skills in the open court. I'm looking forward to working with her and seeing her continue to develop."

She plans to study nursing at SFCC.
