Haselhorst wins the javelin at the Outdoor Mule Relays

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners track and field team competed in the Outdoor Mule Relays at the University of Central Missouri at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field in Warrensburg on Friday, April 12.

Freshman Bailey Haselhorst captured the event title in the javelin with a throw of 42.74 meters. It was the second win in the javelin for Haselhorst during the outdoor season.

"It was a beautiful day for a track meet," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "We started the meet off hot with personal records in three of our first four events and just kept rolling after that. Bailey winning the javelin was certainly a highlight, but I thought the performance of Tanner Maggard in the 1500 was just outstanding. We head to Culver-Stockton College next week. The weather doesn't look as promising, but that really hasn't affected us much this year."
