Cole leads Lady Roadrunners at Miner Invitational

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners track and field team competed at the Miner Invitational on March 22-23 inside Allgood-Bailey Stadium in Rolla.

Sophomore Keiyah Cole finished sixth in the 200m with a time of 26.28. Cole finished eighth in the 100m in a time of 12.88.

"It was an extremely cold day, but we maintained our mental toughness," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "We preach weekly that we need to focus on being consistent. The competition was extraordinary. We had a slew of personal records. Claire Nichols qualified for Nationals in the javelin. We are looking forward to the nice weather predicted for Southwest Baptist next weekend."
