The Lady Roadrunners closed out their regular season on Oct. 18 hosting the St. Louis Community College Archers. SFCC fell in a Region 16 match 1-0.

St. Louis scored the only goal of the match with about 24 minutes, 40 seconds remaining in the first half.

"We had our chances," said Head Coach Jaime Beltran. "I thought we played very organized. Neither team had many chances on goal. St. Louis took advantage of an opportunity. We had some opportunities going forward. It was a back and forth battle in the midfield for most of the game."

The Lady Roadrunners record currently stands at 4-11-1, 1-3 in Region 16. SFCC will now prepare to host a Region 16 game against Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods at 2 p.m. Oct. 24. The Lady Roadrunners defeated Maple Woods 2-1 earlier in the season.
