Four Lady Roadrunners earn Conference recognition

The postseason accolades continue to roll in for the State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners. Sophomore Haley Mackey of Lincoln and sophomore Alexis Gilliland of Jefferson City earned All-Conference honors in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference. Sophomore Kelsey Webb of Oak Grove and freshman Rylee Hagens of Fulton earned Honorable Mention honors. The awards are voted on by the coaches in the Conference.

Mackey played in 39 games and tied for the team lead in hits and walks with 41 and 15, respectively. Mackey finished with a .363 batting average, a .438 on-base percentage and a .646 slugging percentage. Mackey recorded 29 runs scored (second), nine doubles (second), seven home-runs (third) and 22 RBI.

Gilliland played in 33 games with a .362 batting average, a .412 on-base percentage and a .532 slugging percentage. Gilliland recorded seven doubles and three home runs. Gilliland finish fourth on the team with 19 RBI and recorded 10 extra-base hits.

Webb played in all 43 games on the season and collected a team-high 139 at-bats. Webb tied for the team leadin hits with 41 hits, eight home-runs and 28 RBI. Webb had a .295 batting average, a .336 on-base percentage and a .525 slugging percentage.

Hagens played in 41 games and led the team with 36 runs scored, 12 doubles, 10 home runs, 24 extra-base hits and 29 runs batted in. Hagens also led the team in total bases with 83 and tied for the team lead in triples with two. Hagens recorded 37 hits with a .296 batting average, a .380 on-base percentage, and a .664 slugging percentage.

"All of those kids are hard-working leaders both on and off the field," said Lady Roadrunners Softball Head Coach Lyndsey Talbot. "Haley Mackey had a good year as a freshman but, she really flipped the switch and had a really nice sophomore season."
