State Fair Community College (SFCC) Softball Head Coach Lyndsey Talbot announced the addition of Maeli Collins to her 2019-2020 recruiting class. She is a pitcher who played her high school softball at Fort Osage High School in Independence, Missouri for Head Coach Kelly Sullivan.

Collins earned Academic All-Conference Honors in 2018 and named a Scholar Athlete and Second-Team All-Conference in 2016 and 2018. She also earned Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2017.

"Maeli is a pitcher who has a lot of movement on her pitches," said Talbot. "She will fill a relief role on our pitching staff next season. She is a great kid who has the character that we want players who come into our program to possess."

Collins has signed her National Letter of Intent. She will begin her academic and athletic career at SFCC in the fall.
