Ligon leads Roadrunners at the Miner Invitational

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners track and field team competed at the Miner Invitational on March 22-23 inside Allgood-Bailey Stadium in Rolla.

Freshman Peyton Ligon recorded the best finish for the Roadrunners. Ligon finished second in the high jump with a jump of 1.95 meters.

"It was an extremely cold day, but we maintained our mental toughness," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "We preach weekly that we need to focus on being consistent. The competition was extraordinary. We had a slew of personal records. Justin Horn crushed our school record in the 1500m. We are looking forward to the nice weather predicted for Southwest Baptist next weekend."
