Barrow and Jackson earn All-Conference honors

State Fair Community College (SFCC) sophomore forward Cliff Barrow of Detroit, Michigan, has been named to the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference All-Conference First Team. Freshman forward Isaiah Jackson of Paragould, Arkansas, has been named to the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference All-Conference Second Team. The awards are voted on by the coaches in the Conference.

Barrow played in 27 games during his sophomore campaign, starting in 23. Barrow led the team in scoring and free-throw percentage averaging 13 points and 83.9 percent, respectively. Barrow shot 38.1% from three-point range, averaged 4.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on the year.

Barrow's best game came against Three Rivers Community College, when he scored 32 points on 12 of 15 field-goal attempts, including six of nine from three-point range. Barrow scored in double figures in 19 games and pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds in a game against Missouri State University-West Plains.

"Cliff had a really good year for us," said Roadrunners Head Coach Matt Brown. "He proved that he was one of the better three-point shooters in our league. His performance at Three Rivers garnered him a lot of recognition this year."

Jackson started 28 games as a freshman and led the team in rebounds averaging 6.1 per game. Jackson scored nine points a game, which placed him fourth on the team. Jackson shot 50 percent from the field, and 65 percent from the free-throw line. Jackson led the team in offensive rebounds with 2.3 per game.

"Isaiah worked really hard both in the classroom and on the floor for us this season," said Brown.

Jackson had his best game against Kansas City Kansas Community College, in which he scored 19 points and shot 80 percent from the field. Jackson finished in double-figure scoring 12 times during the season. Jackson pulled down his season-high 11 rebounds twice during his freshman campaign against North Platte Community College and Link Year Prep. Jackson finished in double figures rebounds five times on the season.
