Barrow and Jackson earn All-Region honors

State Fair Community College (SFCC) sophomore forward Cliff Barrow has been named to the Men's Basketball All-Region 16 First Team. Freshman forward Isaiah Jackson has been named to the Men's Basketball All-Region 16 Second Team. The awards are voted on by the coaches in the Region.

Barrow played in 27 games during his sophomore campaign, starting in 23. Barrow led the team in scoring, averaging 13 points per game and finished first on the team in free-throw percentage at 83.9%. Barrow shot 38.1% from the three-point arc. He finished second on the team in rebounds pulling down 4.7 per contest and in assists with 2.1 per game.

Barrow had his best scoring game as a Roadrunner, when he scored 32 points in a game against Three Rivers Community College while knocking down 12 of 15 field-goal attempts, including six of nine from beyond the three-point arc. Barrow scored in double figures in 19 games this season. Barrow pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds in a game against Missouri State University-West Plains.

"Cliff had a really good year for us," said Roadrunners Head Coach Matt Brown. "He proved that he was one of the better three-point shooters in our league. I think his performance at Three Rivers garnered him a lot of recognition this year."

Jackson started 28 games during as a freshman at SFCC. Jackson led the team in rebounds averaging 6.1 per game. Jackson scored nine points a game, which placed him fourth on the team. Jackson knocked down 50% of his field-goal attempts, and 65% of his free-throw attempts. Jackson led the team in offensive rebounds with 2.3 per game.

"Isaiah worked really hard both in the classroom and on the floor for us this season," said Brown.

Jackson had his best scoring game with 19 points against Kansas City Kansas Community College. Jackson made eight of his 10 field-goal attempts in the contest along with three of his four free-throw attempts. Jackson finished in double-figure scoring 12 times during the season. Jackson pulled down his season-high 11 rebounds twice during his freshman campaign against North Platte Community College and Link Year Prep. Jackson finished in double figures rebounds five times during his freshman season.
