Dr. D.C. “Doc” Payne is a longtime supporter of State Fair Community College basketball. He has been a member of the SFCC Booster Club since its first meeting in 1968 and has served as treasurer for many years. He seldom misses a home game and over the years has attended many out-of-town games as well. Doc and his wife, Carol, have befriended many players, inviting them for home-cooked meals, and he continues to wholeheartedly support SFCC athletics.
