SFCC Roadrunners basketball signs Bryan

State Fair Community College Roadrunners Basketball Head Coach Matt Brown has announced the addition of Lloyd (L.J.) Bryan, Jr., a 6'8" forward from Cheltenham, Maryland, who has signed a National Letter of Intent. Bryan played a year of postgraduate basketball at Fork Union Military Academy (FUMA) in Fork Union, Virginia, the same postgraduate program in which former Roadrunner LePear Toles participated.

Bryan helped the FUMA Blue Devils to a 19-10 record. He averaged 11 points and seven rebounds while playing for Head Coach Matt Donohue. Bryan played basketball at St. John's College High School in Washington D.C.

"L.J. is a physical player," said Brown. "He effectively sets screens and can score around the basket. I believe with a year in our program, he will be able to expand his shooting range. L.J. faced strong competition in high school, as well as at Fork Union. He is hard working, mature and a quality student. We look forward to having him here."
