Scott-Grayson signs with UAB

Roadrunner freshman guard Tyreek Scott-Grayson has decided to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, by signing a National Letter of Intent. He will have three years of athletic eligibility remaining. UAB is a Division I school.

"Tyreek can shoot the ball well," said Roadrunners Head Coach Matt Brown. "He can pass well and play different positions. That is why the coaching staff at UAB was so excited about him. I am really happy for him."

Scott-Grayson helped SFCC to a 19-10 record and an appearance in the Region 16 tournament semifinal round. He earned NJCAA All-Region 16 first team and the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference all-conference first team.

Scott-Grayson led the Roadrunners in scoring, averaging 13.6 points per game. He shot 51 percent from the field, 31.7 percent from three-point range and averaged 4.6 rebounds per game. Scott-Grayson played in 27 games and started in 20. He scored a season-high 33 points against Iowa Western Community College and scored in double figures in 20 games this season.
