Mouse Races
The annual Mouse Races fundraiser is held in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center gymnasium and features multiple races inside an angled wooden track with six mice. Additionally, there are side games, a silent auction, concession food provided by the SFCC Booster Club, and beer and wine available for purchase. Admission is available at a discounted price if purchased in advance. Participants must be at least 21 years old to enter.
Mouse Roulette
- Similar to a 50/50 raffle
- Purchase a card from a deck, and when the entire deck sells, a mouse determines the lucky winner
- After the first winner is determined, a new deck is sold and the roulette starts over
Heads or Tails Game
- Similar to a 50/50 raffle
- Participate as an individual
- Participants choose heads or tails by symbolizing it physically with their bodies
- A coin is flipped and people who are incorrect are eliminated
- The process repeats until there is a winner who receives half of the pot
Poker Tournament
Our Texas Hold'em Style poker tournament fundraiser is held at the Thompson Center on the Sedalia campus. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place depending on participation. Participants are encouraged to pre-register online to secure a spot in case space is limited. In addition, there are liquor raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and a chance to win jerseys. Participants receive additional chips for the poker game based on the amount they spend on raffles. Beer and wine are available for purchase along with concession stand food provided by the SFCC Booster Club.
