Lady Roadrunners compete at Missouri Southern Stamped

 The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners cross country team finished 12th as a team at the Missouri Southern Stampede in the college and junior college race held in Joplin at the Missouri Southern Cross Country Course on Saturday, September 17.

Freshman Tanner Maggard ran the best time for SFCC covering the 5K course in a time of 21:33.08 to finish 59th. Freshman Kara Van Vleck finished 63rd in a time of 21:37.39. Sophomore Korry Davis finished 74th with a time of 22:13.45. Freshman Breanna James finished 77th with the time of 22:34.54. Freshman Madelyn McBride finished 105th with the time of 25:27.00.

"I could not be more pleased," said Lady Roadrunners Head Cross Country Coach Brad Hagedorn. "Our team improved our average time from two weeks ago and we are learning how to race collegiately."
