Lady Roadrunners claim three top five finishes at UCM Invitational

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners continued their indoor campaign at the University of Central Missouri Invitational inside the UCM Multipurpose Building on Friday, Jan. 19 in Warrensburg.

Sophomore Tanner Maggard recorded the best finish on the day for the Lady Roadrunners. Maggard finished second in the 3000m with a time of 12:05.71.

Sophomore Keiyah Cole finished fifth in a pair of events. Cole finished the 200m in a time of 27.22. Cole ran the 60m in a time of 8.08.

"We faced excellent competition at UCM," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "We came back to reality a little bit this week. Our inexperience showed up in some inconsistencies. However, I felt Keiyah Cole, Molly Prichard, and Kira Phipps had exceptional days."
