Lady Roadrunners compete in regular season finale

The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners track and field team competed at the Shocker Open in Wichita, Kansas on Friday, May 5. The event took place inside Cessna Stadium.

Freshman Tanner Maggard recorded the best individual finish for the Lady Roadrunners, finishing first in the 1500m run with a time of 5:28.71. The Lady Roadrunners 4 x 100m relay team consisting of freshman Rebecca Hall, sophomore Ella Golden, Maggard, and freshman Keiyah Cole finished first with a time of 51.99.

Sophomore Korry Davis finished second in the 1500m with a time of 5:33.60.

Freshman Breanna James finished third in the 1500m in a time of 6:02.60. Hall finished fourth in the long jump with a jump of 4.63 meters. Keiyah Cole finished fourth in the 100m with a time of12.98.

Golden finished fifth in the 100m with a time of 13.15.

"We finished the regular season in fabulous fashion," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "We achieved many personal records as we competed well against very good teams. We travel to Hobbs, New Mexico for our Outdoor National Championships in two weeks."
