The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners traveled to 15th-ranked Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois, on Sunday Oct. 2. SFCC (1-5-2) fell by a score of 6-0. 

"Lewis and Clark is the best team we have played so far this season," said Lady Roadrunners Head Soccer Coach Eddie Horn. "They were extremely athletic and strong technically. We just didn't have an answer for them, but I thought it was good for us to play a team that is a perennial national tournament team just to see the level that we aspire to get to." 

Lewis and Clark scored three goals in the first half to take control of the match. The Trailblazers would add three goals in the second half. 

SFCC will continue their two-match road trip traveling to Ottawa, Kansas, to take on the Ottawa University JV on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m.
