The Lady Roadrunners made enough plays in the third and fourth quarters to preserve the crucial victory.

'We struggled defensively in the first quarter," said Lady Roadrunners Head Coach Nicole Collier. "Jefferson was able to get some pretty easy looks. We had to lock in a little bit better defensively and get some stops."

Freshman forward Quincenia Jackson added 16 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman guard Olivia Dooley pitched in with 12 points. Freshman guard Kayla Dooley contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds. "I thought Autumn played really well for us," said Collier. "Our guards got some big rebounds for us late in the game. We just had to grind the game out."
