Three Lady Roadrunners earn postseason accolades

Three State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners softball student-athletes sophomore Kelsey Webb, along with freshmen Paige Klinge, and Jaelyn Winfrey have all earned Second Team All-Region 16 honors. The honors are voted on by the coaches in the Region.

Webb started in all 46 games for SFCC as a sophomore. Webb tied for first on the team in hits with 53, led the team in doubles with six, tied for the team lead in home runs with nine, and RBIs with 32. Webb finished second on the team with a .373 batting average, 86 total bases, and 15 extra-base hits. Webb finished third on the team with a .597 slugging percentage.

Klinge played in 44 games as a freshman at SFCC. Klinge finished second (tie) on the team with 13 walks. Klinge finished second on the team with 22 runs scored and 23 and RBIs. Klinge finished third on the team with 40 hits, a .301 batting average, 64 total bases, and 10 extra-base hits. Klinge also hit seven home runs.

Winfrey played in 44 games as a freshman. Winfrey led the team with 39 runs scored, five triples, tied for first with nine home runs, led the team with 16 walks, four stolen bases, a .373 batting average, 95 total bases, and 19 extra-base hits. Winfrey tied for the team lead with 53hits. Winfrey finished second on the team with a .444 on-base percentage and .669 slugging percentage. Winfrey finished third on the team with 22 runs batted in.

Winfrey also earned Missouri Community College Athletic Conference All-Conference honors. Webb and Klinge earned Honorable Mention honors.
