The No. 20 ranked State Fair Community College Roadrunners placed 32nd as a team in the Men's Prairie Fire Pepper 8k on Friday, Sept. 30 at Agri Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Sophomore Nathan Gemechu posted the team's best time with 28:25.7 to finish 137th. Sophomore Logan Shaw finished 185th in a time of 29:07.6. Sophomore Ty Lewis finished 218th with a time of 29:40.2. Freshman Ezeckual Freed finished 234th with a time of 30:08.6. Sophomore Ryan Smith finished 241st with a time of 30:15.7. Freshman Roman Ray finished 292nd with a time of 32:42.0.

"Our team lowered our team average by 45 seconds from a year ago," said Roadrunners Cross Country Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "We are seeing the results improve with each competition."
