The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners and Roadrunners Cross Country teams put together another strong performance at the Indian Hills Cross Country Invitational at the Cedar Creek Golf Course in Ottumwa, Iowa on Friday, Oct. 15.

The Roadrunners finished sixth as a team in a nine-team field. Freshman Ethan Montgomery recorded the fastest time for SFCC covering the 8 km course in a time of 28:20.0 finishing 20^th. Freshman Ty Lewis placed 21^st with a time of 28:23.0. Freshman Logan Shaw finished 26^th with a time of 28:41.2. Freshman Juan Herrera finished 44^th in 30:23.2. Sophomore Zack Dyer finished 49^th in 30:44.7. Freshman Ryan Smith finished 50^th in 30:47.2.

The Lady Roadrunners were represented by freshman Korry Davis who finished 42^nd in the 5 km women's race with a time of 24:11.0.

"We had a great day," said SFCC Cross Country Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "Our season is starting to reap the benefits of our hard work. Our last two meets of the season should be pretty special."

The Lady Roadrunners and Roadrunners will return to action at the Region 16 Cross Country Championships in Park Hills, Missouri on Friday, Oct. 29.
