The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners track and field team claimed three top eight finishes at the Central Methodist Open in Fayette on Saturday, March 16.

The 4x100m relay team made up of freshman Ross Johnson, freshman Mario Nunez, sophomore Addison Richards, and freshman Isaac Philips finished third with a time 45.63.

Freshman Justin Horn finished eighth in the 3000m with a time of 9:23.07.

Freshman Jasper Degraffenreid finished eighth in the shot put with a throw of 13.80 meters.

"We were all excited to be outdoors," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "It was a beautiful day for a track meet and our performances definitely showed it. Jasper Degraffenreid and Isaiah Waller had productive days and set the tone for the thrower group moving forward. We go to Rolla next weekend for another meet."
