Roadrunners bring home two top five finishes from UCM Invitational

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners track and field team continued their indoor campaign at the UCM Invitational inside the UCM Multipurpose Building on Friday, Jan. 19 in Warrensburg.

Freshman Caden Morris recorded the best finish for the Roadrunners on the day with a fourth-place finish in the triple jump with a jump of 12.70 meters.

Freshman Peyton Ligon finished fifth in the high jump with a jump of 1.88 meters.

"We faced excellent competition at UCM," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "We came back to reality a little bit this week Our inexperience showed up in some inconsistencies. I thought Caden Morris and Isaiah Waller had nice results in their event."
