Roadrunners tie for 20th at UCM

The Roadrunners track and field team finished tied for 20th as a team at the University of Central Missouri Outdoor Mule Relays on Friday, April 14, at Walton Stadium /Kennedy Field in Warrensburg.

Sophomore Wyatt Irwin recorded the best finish on the day for SFCC finishing third in the high jump with a jump of 1.96 meters.

"The team faced some challenges on a hot day," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "Logan Shaw shined in his first 10,000m. Logan was the unfortunate recipient of an official's error and received a DNF (did not finish) for his efforts. Landon Mason and Keyton Laire set career-bests in the discus and hammer, respectively. Next Saturday, we travel to Culver-Stockton."
