The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners track and field team competed at the SBU Bearcat invitational on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 at Southwest Baptist University.
The Roadrunners finished tied for 15th place as a team scoring five points. Sophomore Wyatt Irwin finished in fourth place in the high jump with a jump of 1.91 meters.
"Our training is paying off," said Roadrunners Head Coach Brad Hagedorn "We had some personal best achievements by multiple student-athletes. Sophomore Landon Mason recorded a huge PR (personal record) in the Hammer. We also got the return of sophomore Brandon Allen from injury. He completed a fabulous return in the 400m. We take a couple weeks off from competition and then go to UCM on April 14."
