Roadrunners compete at Indoor Mule Relays

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners Track and Field team continued their season at the Indoor Mule Relays January 27-28 at the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.

Sophomore Wyatt Irwin finished second in the high jump with a jump of 2.04m and sixth in the long jump with a jump of 6.31m.

Freshman Addison Richards placed third in the heptathlon with a score of 3,697 points. Sophomore

Ty Lewis finished fifth in the 800m run with a time of 2:03.99.

"Our effort this weekend was definitely led by sophomores Wyatt Irwin and Ty Lewis," said Roadrunners Track and Field Coach Brad Hagedorn. "The UCM meet is very competitive and a good place for us to show what we can do. Ty had a strong showing in the 800 running a time he did not achieve until much later in the season last year. Wyatt keeps doing what Wyatt does. He finished second in the high jump. It was one of the best events of the weekend. We travel to Northwest Missouri State University next weekend to continue our indoor season."
