Roadrunners golf team opens fall season

SFCC finished ninth as a team with a two-day total of 91 over par 667 at the William Woods Fall Invite on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 19-20 at the par 72 Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton. The event was 36 holes of stroke play. As a team, SFCC shot 350 in the first round and shot 317 in the second round to improve their team score by 33 shots in round two.

Freshman Korbin Kisner, playing as an individual, finished in a tie for 41st with scores of 83 and 80 for a total of 19 over par 163.

Sophomore Kaden Killingsworth finished in a tie for 44th with scores of 86 and 78 for a total score of 20 over par 164.

Freshman Keaton Mateja finished 47th with scores of 85 and 80 for a total score of 21 over par 165.

Sophomore Matthew Potter finished 48th with scores of 87 and 79 for a total of 22 over par 166.

Freshman Jackson Kempton finished 51st with scores of 92 and 80 for a total of 28 over par 172.

Freshman McCord Deken finished in a tie for 52nd with scores of 95 and 82 for a total of 33 over par 177.

Sophomore Aaron Kennon, playing as an individual, finished 59th with scores of 102 and 93 for a total of 51 over par 195.

Freshman Jordan Thornton, playing as an individual, finished in a tie for 61st with scores of 105 and 111 for a total of 72 over par 216.
