"Overall, I am happy to have the first event under our belts," said Roadrunners Golf Head Coach Wayne Ogle. "I believe all of our players learned a lot about what it takes to play all day. It was the first time for most of them to play 36 holes in one day and walk it. I am very happy with how Curtis Wendler qualified in our first position, and posted scores to back it up. It was also the first competitive round for Preston Patterson, who handled it very well. I believe he will continue to improve and could push Curtis for the one spot."
