The Roadrunners honored their sophomores between games of the doubleheader.

"The thing I'm most proud of about our sophomore class is that they have an opportunity to help us earn NJCAA Academic Team for us in both years. They are a good group of kids who are hard-working on and off the field. I could not ask for a better group of kids."

We were able to handle our business after that. It was important for us to try to come back out and get a couple of wins today after yesterday. It was also important to get the momentum back in our favor headed into an important week coming up for us."

Sophomore pitcher Keith Piepmeier got the start for SFCC. Piepmeier pitched five innings, gave up two runs, one earned on seven hits, struck out two and walked three to pick up the victory.
