Roadrunners add Osagie, Njilayi Jr. to men’s basketball

 State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners Basketball Head Coach Matt Brown announced the additions of Felly Njilayi Jr. and Erhunmwosa "Mosa" Osagie to his 2023-2024 recruiting class. Both student-athletes have signed their National Letter of Intent and will begin their academic and athletic careers at SFCC in the fall.

Njilayi is a 6'6 guard/forward who played his high school basketball at Notre Dame High School in Canada, where he averaged 14 points, six rebounds and three assists as a senior.

He was named an All-Atlantic All-Star.

Njilayi played his prep school basketball at Canada Topflight Academy for Head Coach Tony House.

"Felly is long and athletic," said Brown. "He can get out and run in transition. He played for Tony House. a really good head coach."

Osagie is a 6'5 guard/forward who played his high school basketball at Heritage High School in Frisco, Texas, where he averaged eight points, seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal per game. Osagie was named to the first-team all-district defensive team.

Osagie played his prep school basketball last year at Pro Holmes Sports Academy in Florida. Osagie averaged 21 points, seven rebounds, and two steals last season.

"Mosa is extremely long and athletic," said Brown. "He is a year older and a good defender. He played against some high-level competition and will be a good fit for our program."
