Lady Roadrunners continue season in Joplin
Three members of the State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners cross country team competed as individuals at the Missouri Southern Stampede hosted by Missouri Southern State University at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course on Friday, September 20.
Three members of the State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners cross country team competed as individuals at the Missouri Southern Stampede hosted by Missouri Southern State University at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course on Friday, September 20.
Freshman Alexis Riddle covered the 5K course in a time of 24:51.90 to finish 155th for SFCC. Sophomore Emma Rinaldi finished 176th with a time of 28:46.05. Sophomore Cheyenne Evans finished 177th with a time of 30:36.94.
"The race schedule got pushed back to attempt to deal with the heat," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "However, the temperature was terrible. Thankfully, we still ran well. Coach Loch had the athletes acclimated well. Freshman Alexis Riddle ran great. She had an amazing crowd from her alma mater cheering her on."
