Lady Roadrunners open season at SBU
Three members of the women’s State Fair Community College (SFCC) cross country team, which is currently receiving votes in the preseason poll, opened their season at the Bearcat Classic hosted by Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar on Friday, September 6.

The trio was competing as individuals at the event.
Freshman Alexis Riddle covered the 5K course in a time of 24:38.29 to finish 100th. Sophomore Emma Rinaldi finished 106th with a time of 26:02.11. Sophomore Cheyenne Evans finished 110th with a time of 27:43.55.
"We had a nice fall evening for our first meet of the season," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "Emma Rinaldi ran a nice race coming off an injury. Alexis Riddle shook off her nerves and ran a nice race. We will certainly get better as the season progresses."
