Nunez leads Lady Roadrunners at UCM Invitational

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners track and field team continued their indoor season at the UCM Invitational hosted by the University of Central Missouri inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center on Friday, Jan. 24 in Warrensburg.

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners track and field team continued their indoor season at the UCM Invitational hosted by the University of Central Missouri inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center on Friday, Jan. 24 in Warrensburg.
 
Freshman Jocelyn Nunez of Independence, Missouri finished third in the long jump with a jump of 5.43 meters, which was a collegiate best mark for Nunez in the long jump.
 
"We had a consistent weekend," said Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "The women just keep improving. Jocelyn Nunez is a mere five inches from qualifying for Nationals in the long jump."
