Lady Roadrunners snap three-game losing streak
Neosho, Mo.-The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners women’s soccer team got back on the winning track with a 4-2 victory over Crowder College in Neosho, Mo. on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Neosho, Mo.-The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners women's soccer team got back on the winning track with a 4-2 victory over Crowder College in Neosho, Mo. on Saturday, Oct. 11.
The SFCC (7-6) offense scored four goals in the opening half. Crowder responded with a goal just before halftime. Crowder would add one more the second half to finish the goal scoring for the match.
Sophomore forward Ella Smith led the SFCC offense with three goals. Freshman midfielder Idali Nava also scored a goal for SFCC. Freshman midfielder Melanie Aguirre, freshman midfielder Dalia Santiesteban, sophomore forward Adamaris Ramirez and freshman defender Sabrina Meloy each recorded an assist in the match.
Freshman goalkeeper Valeria Morales got the start in the goal for SFCC and made two saves.
The Lady Roadrunners will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 15 in a Region 16 match against St. Louis Community College in St. Louis, Missouri. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
