October 8 Metropolitan Community College at Kansas City
The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners soccer team fell 4-0 to Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City on Tuesday, October 8.
MCC scored three times in the first half to take the lead into the locker room. The SFCC defense made some adjustments and only allowed one goal in the second half.
Freshman Grace Eidson and freshman Adrienne Miller shared time in goal for SFCC.
October 12 Crowder College at Neosho
SFCC (0-12-1) lost a 6-1 match to Crowder College in Neosho on Saturday, October 12. Crowder scored the first two goals in the contest to jump out to the lead.
SFCC would answer with a goal from freshman Ella Smith in the first half to cut the deficit to 2-1. Crowder would add three more goals to take a 5-1 lead into halftime. Crowder would add one more goal in the second half.
Freshman Emma Routh got the start in goal for SFCC.
