Bio

Grant Hopkins is in his third season as the assistant basketball coach for the Lady Roadrunners. He brings a variety of experience in collegiate women’s basketball to the position at SFCC.

During the 2023-2024 campaign, Hopkins helped lead SFCC to a 22-8 record and an appearance in the Region 16 Tournament Championship game. The program also earned its third NJCAA Academic Team Award.

During the 2022-2023 season, Hopkins helped SFCC to a 13-16 record. The program also captured its second NJCAA Academic Team Award.

Hopkins came to Sedalia after serving as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa from 2020 to 2022.

Hopkins served as a graduate assistant coach at Drury University in Springfield from 2019 to 2020.

Hopkins began his career as a student assistant coach at Northwest Missouri State University from 2014 to 2019.

Hopkins earned an undergraduate degree in Physical Education from Northwest Missouri State University. He also holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Drury University.
