Lady Roadrunners defeat Rend Lake for the second time this season

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners picked up their sixth win with a 71-37 victory over Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois Nov. 18.
SFCC led 24-2 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. The victory was the first true road win of the season for the Lady Roadrunners.
Sophomore center Jaida Shipp led the team in scoring with 11 points. Shipp also registered a team-high four steals in the game. Sophomore forward Quincenia Jackson pulled down a team-high six rebounds. Freshman guard Madison Johnson and sophomore guard Tanila Marshall added 10 points each. Johnson, along with freshman guards Nakayla Green and Violeta Rojas Narváez tied for the team lead in assists with two each.
