Sarah Manuel is in her third season as the Head Coach of the Clay Target Shooting Team at State Fair Community College. 

Manuel was recognized as the NCSSAA 2022-2023 Division V Coach of the Year. This prestigious honor is determined by votes from all the NCSSAA division coaches. The Roadrunners took second place as a squad in American Skeet at the NCSSAA National Championship.

Manuel has an impressive resume in both high school and collegiate shooting sports.

Manuel participated in the Missouri High School State Shoot for three years during her high school career, as a member of the Kearney High School Trap Club, where Manuel also served as a Squad Leader for two years. She won two individual national championships at the Academics Integrity and Marksmanship National Championships in 2012 and 2013.

Manuel continued her shooting career with the University of Central Missouri Shooting Sports Club for two years. She helped her team to nine High Over-All Team Sponsored Shoots. Manuel earned ACUI (the Collegiate Shooting governing body) 16thplace in American Trap. Manuel also earned two Junior Olympic Invitations.

Manuel transferred to Missouri Valley College, where she helped her team to an ACUI fifth place finish as a team in their division.

Manuel earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Missouri Valley College.
