April 8 – Metropolitan Community College at Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners split a Region 16 doubleheader at Metropolitan Community College on Tuesday, April 8. SFCC dropped game one 9-7, then rebounded with a 12-8 win in game two.
In the opener, sophomore first baseman/second baseman Danika Sickle of Grain Valley had three hits. Sophomore middle infielder/outfielder Jordan Crooks of Leeton and sophomore utility player Bailey Haselhorst of Kansas City each added two hits. Sophomore pitcher/first baseman Kiara Sodini of Lee's Summit doubled, homered, drove in three runs and scored twice. Freshman outfielder Carley Conrad of Edwardsville, Kansas, added a triple. SFCC tallied 13 hits.
Freshman pitcher/first baseman Elana Clark of Maysville threw a complete game, allowing nine runs (five earned) on 11 hits, with four strikeouts and three walks.
In game two, Sickle had two hits, including a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. Haselhorst added two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Sodini added two hits. Sophomore third baseman Myla Inman of Washington doubled, homered, drove in four and scored twice. Conrad doubled, and Crooks scored twice as the Lady Roadrunners collected 12 hits.
Freshman pitcher/shortstop Valerie Meyer of Hughesville earned the win with a complete-game effort, giving up eight runs on 10 hits with three strikeouts and four walks.

April 12 – North Central Missouri College at Sedalia
SEDALIA, Mo. – SFCC split another Region 16 doubleheader on Saturday, April 12, winning the opener 9-7 before falling 5-1 in game two. The games were part of Sedalia Parks and Recreation Day.
In game one, Crooks had three hits and scored twice. Inman added two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Sophomore middle infielder/outfielder Emily Burke of Cole Camp recorded two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Haselhorst homered and drove in two.
Clark pitched a complete game, allowing seven runs (four earned) on 14 hits, striking out five and walking three.
In game two, SFCC managed just two hits—a double from Sodini and another from Burke. Sickle drove in SFCC's lone run. Conrad scored the only run.
Freshman first baseman/pitcher Courtney Dehn of Dearborn started and pitched five innings, allowing two runs on four hits with one strikeout and two walks. Meyer pitched the final two innings, giving up three unearned runs on one hit with one strikeout and four walks.

April 13 – Missouri State University-West Plains at Sedalia
SEDALIA, Mo. – SFCC (15-25, 8-12 Region 16) closed the week with another split, beating Missouri State University-West Plains 9-2 in game one before dropping the nightcap 6-5 on Sunday, April 13. The games were part of Sophomore Day and Alumni Day.
In game one, Sickle hit two home runs, drove in six runs and scored twice. Inman had two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Freshman catcher/third baseman Lia Hill of Lee's Summit had two hits. Conrad doubled and scored twice. SFCC totaled 11 hits.
Sodini pitched a complete game, allowing two runs (one earned) on eight hits with four strikeouts and one walk.
In game two, Sodini had two hits, including a double. Burke doubled and drove in two runs. Haselhorst homered and had two RBIs.
Meyer started and pitched four innings, allowing four runs on nine hits with four strikeouts and two walks. Dehn pitched the final three innings, giving up two runs on three hits and one walk.
