March 25 – North Central Missouri College at Trenton
TRENTON, Mo. – State Fair Community College dropped both games of a Region 16 doubleheader at North Central Missouri College on Tuesday, falling 8-6 in game one and 12-5 in game two.
In game one, freshman infielder and utility player Jenna Herald of Monett had a team-high three hits, along with an RBI and a run scored. Sophomore utility player Bailey Haselhorst of Kansas City hit a home run and a double. Sophomore outfielder and middle infielder Jordan Crooks of Leeton had two hits and scored three runs. Sophomore third baseman Myla Inman of Washington added two hits and two RBIs. Freshman outfielder Carley Conrad of Edwardsville, Kansas, added a double. SFCC totaled 12 hits.
Freshman pitcher and first baseman Elana Clark of Maysville started and pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing eight runs, four earned, on eight hits with five walks and five strikeouts. Sophomore pitcher and first baseman Kiara Sodini of Lee's Summit pitched two-thirds of an inning and allowed one walk. Clark took the loss.
In game two, Crooks and Herald each had two hits, with Herald scoring twice. Haselhorst homered and drove in three runs. Inman doubled, and sophomore middle infielder and outfielder Emily Burke of Cole Camp added two hits and an RBI. SFCC had eight hits as a team.
Freshman pitcher Zoe Donahue of Mountain Home, Arkansas, started and went four innings, allowing five runs, three earned, on four hits with three strikeouts and four walks. She took the loss.

March 27 – Moberly Area Community College at Sedalia
SEDALIA, Mo. – SFCC split a doubleheader with Moberly Area on Thursday, dropping game one 8-6 before bouncing back with a 12-1 run-rule win in five innings in game two.
In the opener, sophomore first baseman and second baseman Danika Sickle of Grain Valley had two hits, including a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored. Conrad and Sodini each added a double and an RBI. SFCC recorded eight hits.
Freshman pitcher and shortstop Valerie Meyer of Hughesville started and pitched three innings, allowing six runs, four earned, on six hits with one strikeout and three walks. Sodini pitched four innings in relief, allowing two runs on six hits.
In game two, Meyer had two hits, including a double, with four RBIs and two runs scored. Inman added two hits, including a home run, three RBIs and three runs. Haselhorst scored twice and drove in two runs, while Sickle scored twice. SFCC tallied seven hits.
Freshman pitcher and first baseman Courtney Dehn of Dearborn started and pitched four innings, allowing one run on five hits with one strikeout and two walks. Clark pitched the final inning and issued one walk.

March 29 – Missouri State University-West Plains at West Plains
WEST PLAINS, Mo. – SFCC (8-20, 3-7 Region 16) swept a Region 16 doubleheader at Missouri State University-West Plains, winning 8-2 in game one and 9-4 in game two on Saturday.
In game one, Crooks led the offense with three hits, including a home run. Sodini added two hits, including a home run, with two RBIs and two runs scored. Burke contributed two hits, and Haselhorst added a double. SFCC tallied 11 hits.
Donahue started and earned the win, pitching six innings and allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts and seven walks. Herald pitched one inning in relief, allowing one run on two hits.
In game two, Sickle led the way with two home runs and a double, driving in three runs and scoring three times. Crooks had two hits, and Herald added two doubles and three RBIs. Haselhorst contributed two hits, and Burke added a double. SFCC finished with 11 hits.
Meyer started and pitched four innings, allowing three runs on two hits with four strikeouts and four walks. Clark pitched the final three innings, giving up one unearned run on one hit with one strikeout.
