March 11 – Jefferson College at Hillsboro
HILLSBORO, Mo. – The State Fair Community College softball team lost both games of a Region 16 doubleheader against Jefferson College on Tuesday, falling 5-3 in the opener and 8-0 in five innings in game two.
Sophomore utility player Bailey Haselhorst of Kansas City led SFCC with three hits, including two home runs. She scored twice and drove in two runs. Sophomore middle infielder and outfielder Emily Burke of Cole Camp added two hits, including a double. The Lady Roadrunners totaled eight hits.
Freshman pitcher and shortstop Valerie Meyer of Hughesville threw all six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits while striking out three and walking four.
In game two, Haselhorst recorded SFCC's only hit, while sophomore pitcher and first baseman Kiara Sodini of Lee's Summit drew the team's only walk.
Freshman pitcher Zoe Donahue of Mountain Home, Arkansas, started in the circle, pitching four innings and allowing eight runs, six earned, on nine hits with two strikeouts and one walk.

March 12 – St. Louis Community College at St. Louis
ST. LOUIS – SFCC (3-11, 1-3 Region 16) lost both games of a doubleheader against St. Louis Community College on Wednesday, falling 8-7 in the opener despite a late rally and 9-1 in six innings due to the run rule.
In game one, Meyer led the offense with two hits and five RBIs. Sophomore outfielder and middle infielder Jordan Crooks of Leeton recorded two hits and scored twice. Haselhorst had two hits, two runs scored, an RBI, and a stolen base. Sophomore third baseman Myla Inman of Washington added two hits and a run scored. Sophomore utility player Bella Ochoa of Carrollton contributed two hits. The Lady Roadrunners totaled 13 hits.
Sodini started in the circle, pitching five innings and allowing eight runs, six earned, on 14 hits with two strikeouts and one walk. Donahue pitched one inning in relief, allowing two hits and one walk.
