March 1 - Kansas City Kansas Community College at Kansas City, Kansas
The Lady Roadrunners dropped a pair of games 7-2 and 5-4 in nine innings to Kansas City Kansas Community College.
In game one, sophomore Sonni Harper led the SFCC offense with a double and two RBI. Sophomore Ellie Eckert, freshman Lauren Strange, and freshman Makinzi Harris all had one hit each. Makinzi Harris and sophomore Kailee Liles each scored a run.
Freshman pitcher Kennidi Harris got the start for SFCC and pitched four innings, giving up one run on four hits. Freshman Emma Schouten pitched .2 innings allowing five runs on four hits and was given the pitching loss
In game two, sophomore Haley Mackey had a pair of doubles. Strange had a pair of hits and an RBI along with a run scored. Freshman Rylee Hagens crushed a home run and drove in three runs. Sophomore Kelsey Webb recorded a double in the game.
Sophomore pitcher Sadie Kumm started and pitched six innings, allowed four runs, two of which were earned, and struck out six. Sophomore pitcher Tabitha Imhoff came in to pitch the final two innings and gave up one unearned run and struck out two.
March 4 - Iowa Western Community College at Council Bluffs
SFCC lost 10-0 in five innings to Iowa Western Community College in the opening game of a split doubleheader on Friday, March 4 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
SFCC got a stolen base from Eckert.
Freshman pitcher Alexis Hughes got the start in the circle for SFCC. Hughes pitched .1 inning and allowed four runs on three hits.
March 4 - North Iowa Area Community College at Council Bluffs
SFCC (1-7) fell 12-3 in five innings in the second game of a split a doubleheader to North Iowa Area Community College.
Freshman Kalyn Smith recorded a double in the game. Eckert hit a triple and drove in a run. Sophomore Olivia Butler hit a home run and drove in a pair of runs.
Kennidi Harris got the start and pitched 3.1 innings, allowed seven runs, five of which were earned on seven hits.
