Lady Roadrunners Add Paxton

State Fair Community College (SFCC) Softball Head Coach Lyndsey Talbot has announced the addition of Aleah Paxton to her 2019-2020 recruiting class. Paxton is a pitcher who plays her high school softball at Lincoln High School for Head Coach Chris Sanders.

"Aleah has some natural velocity," said Talbot. "Last year, she worked a lot with Haley Kinnison on developing new pitches and perfecting the ones that she already had. Aleah is a good, local kid who has experienced a lot of success at the high school level. We look for her to fill a role as a starting pitcher for our team next season."

Paxton was named honorable mention all-conference in 2016. She also earned all-conference honors in 2017 and 2018. She was named all-district in 2017 and 2018. Paxton is a two-time all-region performer. She helped her team to a third place finish in the conference in 2016. She led her team to first place finishes in the conference in 2017 and 2018. She also helped her team to district championships in 2017 and 2018. Lincoln finished in third place in the State Tournament in 2017.

Paxton has signed her National Letter of Intent and will begin her academic and athletic career at SFCC in the fall.
