Jason Cannon is in his third year as an assistant coach for the State Fair Community College Track and Field and Cross Country programs.

Cannon has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Performance Enhancement Specialist for 10 years. He has worked with athletes at all levels, including professional, collegiate, and high school. 

Cannon has also coached basketball, baseball, and track and field at Green Ridge High School.

As a student-athlete, he earned All-Conference honors in basketball, football, golf, and track and field at Owensville High School.

Cannon earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master of science degree from the University of Central Missouri.
