Four Roadrunners earn MCCAC honors
The State Fair Community College Roadrunners soccer team has announced sophomore defender Mosiah Bonney, Dominica, and freshman Nathan McCollin, Barbados, have been named to the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference First Team.

The State Fair Community College Roadrunners soccer team has announced sophomore defender Mosiah Bonney, Dominica, and freshman Nathan McCollin, Barbados, have been named to the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference First Team. Freshman Ethan Taylor, Barbados, and sophomore Ethan Phillips, England, have been named to the Second Team. The awards are voted on by the coaches in the Conference.
Bonney was a key part of the Roadrunners' defense. Bonney also recorded three assists, which was good enough for third place on the team. Bonney played in 16 contests and started in 15.
McCollin scored eight goals, second most on the team, as a freshman. McCollin added a pair of assists to finish fourth on the team and registered 18 points to finish second on the team in points. McCollin played in 17 games while starting in 16 this season.
Taylor played in 16 games, starting 14. Taylor scored a team-high nine goals. Taylor also led the team in assists with six and points with 24. Taylor also registered a team-leading two game-winning goals.
Phillips played in 16 games while starting 15. Phillips scored five goals which was good enough to finish third on the team. Phillips registered 10 points which was good enough to finish third on the team. Phillips scored one game-winning goal this season.
This group helped lead the Roadrunners to a 5-10-3 record and the program's first Region Tournament victory at home since the resumption of the program.
"I am happy for all four of our student-athletes who earned awards," said Head Coach Michael Poropat. "They worked hard and deserve the success and recognition that comes with these awards."
