The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners soccer team (1-6-1) lost 5-1 to East Central College in Union, Missouri on Wednesday, Sept.27. The game was part of both the Region 16 and Missouri Community College Athletic Conference schedule for both teams.

East Central scored twice in the first 15 minutes, before SFCC got on the scoreboard in the 29th minute with a goal from Dario Catalan to cut the deficit to 2-1. SFCC went into halftime trailing by one goal. East Central scored again in the 58th and the 65th minute. ECC added the final goal of the match in the 87th minute.

Adrian Fernandez got the start in goal for SFCC and made three saves.
